I had a chance to visit Washington D.C. a few weeks ago and when I walked into one of the museums, I was greeted by this sculpture of an elephant:
With the following description:
Body language really is everywhere. I bet animals interpret it much better than we do because they are not distracted by words like humans are.
Happy D-Coding,
Darya
P.S. Let me know if you recognize this museum... I can't remember the name.

I would guess that the museum is the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
ReplyDeleteIt must be fairly obvious to those that know you, but why would you be writing about body language Darya?
Hi Dennis,
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely right about the museum! I forgot which one of the Smithsonian buildings it was in. I write about body language because I believe that people speak more with their bodies than with words, we just don't know how to decode them. As I learn more about non-verbal communication, I thought I'd share all my findings in a blog. The TV show "Lie to Me" (now it's off air) is what started my fascination with the subject.
